Espresso machine ??

Well my 15+ year old Starbucks made by Saeco is slowly dying. Pump makes lots of noise, gasket crumbling and leaking and low pressure. So what are you guys using and what would you recommend? I want to stay at around$500.00 or lower.
I just want a well made dependable machine like I had.
Thank you.

Rancilio Silvia. Definitely not under $500.

Saeco minuto focus. Right around 700, but worth every penny.

We did this for our new saeco. Go to the Bay when machine is on sale a little. Signed up for a Bay card and got another 20-30% off. 1000 machine became 500 or so and then we just paid off the card and cut it up :)

First, I hate throwing things away if they can be repaired.
Secondly, I have a 20 years old Saeco Aroma (which is what the Starbucks model was) and love it. Your don't get anything as well made as they were for $500 bucks anymore.
A year ago mine just plumb wore out...someone recommended these guys:

For $175 they put in all new gaskets, new switches and completely overhauled it...works like new and I hope to get another 20 years out of it.

I was wondering if that was a possibility, but don't know anything about Saeco. It is one of the things I liked about Rancilio, these things are built to last and parts are available.

Go cheap and cheerful - Aeropress
Not quite the real thing but you could buy a new firearm of some description with the change and still drink great coffee
