Lee enfield safety problem.

Last weekend I took my Lee Enfield No1 for a walk in the bush and it seemed like the safety was creeping a couple times. Today I was playing around with it and sure enough, if I pushed on the cocking piece the safety would snap from the "safe" position into the "fire" position. Wondering if anyone has encountered this problem before, and if they could tell me how to fix it. I'm assuming something is worn out and I'll need some parts, not sure if its worth putting much money into a beat up old Mk III hack job sporter, or if I should just get another one.... but the rifle does shoot pretty good for an old Enfield.

Check Tradex they may have parts.. If it's a shooter, keeper

I own one at a time that the safety wasn't working at all, I didn't even want to look at it afterward, but it was one on how many enfield since I started shooting. Good luck, gunsmith, or go on facebook, there is a Canadian enfield groups that can help. Then again, they might also try to buy it outright lol
