Go flame go

flames look like there getting faster every game,,flames are for real,,,get 4 lines rollin the're going to be a hard team to beat,,,,,i like this ,,if you play the flames you better be ready look ,,,to chase johnny, bryon, brodie, hudler, geo, monahan, must be tiring

Twisted Canuck 11-30-2014 12:28 PM

The d men are just getting more confident as they go, another goal for Brodie last night too. Between Gio, Brodie, Wideman and Russel, they collectively have 20 goals, 48 assists, and are +33, not a minus player in the bunch. That is crazy. Giordano is the man to wear the C this year, 6 goals, 19 assists, +14! He has to be the front runner for the Norris, no question.

Last year Duncan Keith won the Norris, he had 6 goals for the entire season, but 55 assists, and was +22. Currently, he is at 5 goals, 10 assists, and +6. Still lots of games to play, but Gio and Brodie are the top 2 D in the league, and together they are crazy productive.

Finally, a season to look forward to every game!

Oilers just took the 2 best teams in the West to overtime on back to back nights. I say they will take down the Coyotes.

Did they? I must have missed the one where they played the Flames, since you said two best.....:)

Giordano player-of-the-month for November. 775-800 guys pretty nice recognition. Crosby, Stamkos, Toews, all second to Calgary's captain. Dang nice feel good story. Ramo 3rd star of the week. Hartley might not be able to keep them going but heck of a start.

blackpheasant 12-02-2014 09:50 PM

Its ok Oilers we got your back, we will take care of those Coyotes for you...nice win and a hatty for Josh who?

propliner 12-02-2014 09:57 PM

...and the little streak continues...

TreeGuy 12-02-2014 10:08 PM

Gotta give full props to the Flamers....... Ahh hell. Flames. Pretty fun crew to watch these days. I'm happy for you.

(Gawd, that was almost PAINFUL. ). :)

Jesus put a little gold star beside your name for giving that up TreeGuy.....:)

And yeah, hell of a game. I thought it was totally classy for Johnny Gaudreau to dish that puck so nicely to Jooris so he could get his hat trick.

The chemistry on the bench was so obviously good after that, all the smiles, pats on the back, I think Glencross went and grabbed his hatty puck for him. Those guys are loving wearing the Flames jersey, and they are not going to go away quietly. Truly good chemistry, from coaches on down.

The biggest issue is what to do with the returning players....(keep Colbourne, ditch Stajan IMO)....

Another fun night of Flames 'Take No Prisoners' Hockey.

Why don't you just dump the Oilers and become a Flamer...I mean your a Calgary guy it only makes sense, besides it looks like the Oilers are going to be in the tank for a few years yet...:happy0180:

You 2 need a room?

Good game by the Flames. Great Hat trick and a even better pass.

This team could go on a heck of a streak. next few games are against some weeker teams.

true but who cares about the flames go leafs

Twisted Canuck 12-10-2014 07:59 AM

Bernier definitely won that game for the Leafs, too bad about the empty netters. I wish Stajan would get traded though. Seemed like the first and second period every time he and Raymond were on the ice was confusion, not up to speed yet.

BUT,, at the end of the day, its the score that counts. I suspect my beloved Leafs have already booked the engraver, and filed for a parade permit.
